Wow its been a long time since I've updated my journal XD anyway i just got back from my vacation in Hawaii on the island Kauai (miss the warm weather already There's 8 inches of snow on the ground and we're expecting more in the next couple of days. I went from 80 degree weather to about 20 degree weather) and I took a ton of photos, so expect a major upload throughout the week and into the next.

It was extremely nice there, I wouldn't mind living there. My dad and I we are set for buying a house out there, for a vacation house, but my mom didn't want to waste time looking for a place. Next time we go, my dad and I got it planned we're buying a house next time,, with or without her. Anyway I got majorly burned the first to days being there because I forgot to put on sunscreen, so I was hurting every time I wore a backpack for hiking, etc. I went surfing, kayaking, whale watching (sad story), hiking, and whole bunch of other stuff. So onto the sad story about the whale watching. So we took this boat ride for the day and I was taking photos and knew the batteries currently in the camera where half used, so I had back up fully charged batteries. And guess what so when it comes time to replace the batteries, everything's going fine, then after about 10 minutes of the new batteries (fully charged mind you) were in, they died and the camera said the batteries needed to be replaced. So that was a bummer because we saw about 30+ whales out in the ocean, especially a lot of them jumping out of the water. We also saw turtles in the water as well which was cool. The water was soo clear, you could easily see the bottom in the majority of the water I was at.

So if you ever get a chance to go to Hawaii, take it and enjoy it. It'll be worth your stay and don't forget to attend a luau while you're there, they're a lot of fun.
